"Platte"—Tall Traditional Dresser

This tall dresser was hand-painted with inspiration from an old hotel photo I took in Colorado not long ago. I loved the white paint on worn gray boards. I added texture using a putty knife and dragging chalk paint on the surface. It did a fantastic job for this finish. You can see the live demo in the link below. There was texture, washes, and shading all over. I spray painted the hardware silver and used Gilding Wax to add some aging. Overall, it was an adventure in texture and depth and I hope to try it again soon.
