“Leslie”—Antique Dresser with Mirror

Rustic lace was the goal of this finish that I applied to an antique dresser and mirror. A coat of Dixie Belle's Rebel Yellow was brushed on throughout the piece. Then, once a coat of Driftwood was brushed on, the French Linen chalk paint color added some shading and warmth to the overall piece. I used the Gravel Road color to add some shading to the corners and other areas of the dresser. The mirror and original wood knobs were painted the same technique as the rest of the dresser. Dixie Belle’s Lace Transfer was added to the sides as a subtle surprise to the piece.
