"Grant"—Antique Buffet

This antique buffet needed a new look and a lot of TLC. Some chalk paint shading and variations of gray tones all came together to help transform this antique buffet and get it ready for a new home. Also added a Wood-u-bend appliqué of #2443 to add extra class to the top. It really complimented the hardware’s shape. After putting a base coat of Manatee Gray, I took one evening, an Oval Small Dixie Belle brush, and layered all the paint and depth you see in the finished piece. With some topcoat and Gator Hide and polishing up the hardware, it was all ready.

This antique buffet has 3 drawers and 2 cabinet spaces. A blended gray tonal color scheme was used to add depth and highlights. The original hardware has been polished up and they are wonderfully eye-catching. This buffet can provide a large amount of storage for your space and with its solid wood construction, it will last a very long time.
